Singer/songwriter, Jody Joseph gives a riveting performance as two of rock and roll’s leading ladies.
One Legend-One Diva-One Woman is a musical in which Joseph pays homage to the mother of rock, Janis Joplin, and rock and roll’s beloved gypsy, Stevie Nicks; two women who have inspired and greatly influenced her musical journey. In this production, Jody Joseph takes the stage by storm in full costume and character as both legendary performers.
Jody recreates sequences from the often-troubled, personal lives of these two women. Through dialog and song, she reveals the common thread they share with each other.

This production is not only entertaining but it captivates the audience, through the use of creative lighting and props, bringing them along on a journey that depicts the exhilarating super stardom and personal struggles of these two female rock legends.
As producer and director, Jody performed this show for the first time in May 2009 at the historic Paramount Theatre (Asbury Park, NJ), and rocked an audience of over 900. John Pfeiffer of The Aquarian raved “A truly well thought out concept…Joseph could easily take this act on the road. I do know she’s hit gold!”
With the success of that show, Live Nation brought “ONE DIVA…ONE LEGEND…ONE WOMAN” to the Gramercy Theater in New York City in January 2010 where Joseph performed to an almost full house.
Jody once again performed this show at Brookdale College PAC to a packed house on September 25, 2010, where it received rave reviews.
On October 22, 2011 the show was performed at the Pollak Theater, Monmouth University, West Long Branch NJ. A portion of the proceeds from the show were donated to The American Cancer Society – Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
